Audit trail
The platform keeps an append-only record of configuration changes: who changed what, when, and the old and new values. Nobody — including Woltti staff — can edit or delete entries. You meet the trail in two places.
The Audit panel on detail pages
Most detail pages — stations, sessions, tariffs, teams, locations, circuits, devices, licenses, invoices, users and more — end with an Audit panel: that one record's history, newest first. Expand it to see each change's actor, time, and a field-by-field before → after diff. This is the first place to look when "someone changed something".
Two markers worth knowing:
- A system actor (gear icon) is a scheduled job, event listener or integration rather than a person — the entry names the job.
- An entry labelled Changed (rather than a specific verb like "Tariff changed") was captured by the platform's safety net; the values are correct, the label is just generic.
The History page
History shows the whole organisation's trail in one filterable list: by period (from the last 4 hours up to a custom range), by action, and by free-text search over record names, people and actions. Each entry expands to its diff and carries a trace id support can use to correlate with platform logs. Record names link to the record's own page where one exists.
Scope and access
You see your own organisation's entries only — an operator sees its tenant (including partners' records under it); a partner admin sees the partner's. Platform-level records with no owner, such as the fee catalogue, stay internal to Woltti. The trail is available to the CompanyAdmin, PartnerAdmin and Accountant roles.
What is and isn't recorded
Recorded: configuration and commercial decisions — prices, ownership, membership, limits, statuses, manual session interventions. Deliberately not recorded: operational telemetry (heartbeats, meter values, live session updates) — recording those would bury the decisions someone meant to make. Secrets such as device passwords are recorded as changed without the value.
