Charging stations

Charging stations lists every charge point your organisation can see, with its connectors (EVSEs), vendor and model, and three status columns that answer different questions:

  • Status — the administrative state of the station on the platform.
  • Network status — whether the station is currently connected and heartbeating.
  • Hardware status — the device's own reported condition; empty when the vendor does not report one.

Use the search box and column sorting to find a station; the license filter narrows the list to licensed or unlicensed stations when reconciling billing.

Registering a station​

  1. Open Charging stations → New charging station.
  2. Fill in the identity the station will present over OCPP, its vendor/model, and the operator (and partner, if any) that owns it.
  3. Assign the station to a location so drivers can find it on the map.

A station starts sending data as soon as it connects with the identity you registered. If it stays offline, check the identity spelling first — it must match the device configuration exactly.

The station detail page​

The detail page collects everything about one station: live status, its EVSEs, uptime and downtime, data usage, recent transactions, configuration, communication logs, and notes. Two panels matter for governance:

  • Licensing — the platform licenses covering this station.
  • Audit — every recorded change to the station: ownership moves, renames, firmware identity changes. See Audit trail.

Moving a station to another operator or partner​

Changing the operator or partner on the station detail page immediately re-scopes who can see the station, its sessions and its revenue. The change is recorded in the audit trail with the old and new values, so a disputed handover can always be reconstructed.
