Users

Users lists every account in your organisation: drivers charging on your network and staff operating the portal. Status chips show at a glance whether an account is enabled, and whether its email address is confirmed.

Reading the list

  • Search matches name and email.
  • The status and email confirmed columns are filterable — the quickest way to find sign-ups stuck before confirmation.
  • Each row opens the user detail page: profile data, role, balance where wallets are in use, and the account's activity.

Roles

A user's role decides what they can do — see the role table on the guide's front page. Grant the smallest role that covers the job: Accountant for finance staff who only need billing and history, ChargingStationsAdmin for technicians, CompanyAdmin only for those administering the whole operator.

Access to charging

By default an enabled user can charge on your public network under the tariff that targets them. To restrict a group of users to specific stations — or to give a closed group access — use teams.

Privacy notes

  • The user detail page's Audit panel records changes to the account — role changes, status changes, profile edits — with the actor. Balance movements are bookkeeping and deliberately not in the audit trail.
  • When an account is erased under a GDPR request, audit entries keep the actor name as recorded at the time but stop linking to a profile, so the trail stays intact without leading back to an erased person.
